Psychology Department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University

Psychology Department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University is the flagship of Russian education and science. The Faculty has a unique history associated with the names of outstanding scientists, rich traditions, and high scientific authority in Russia and abroad

Since the establishment of the Faculty in 1966, the staff has been actively engaged in teaching and methodological work in the field of psychology, defining curricula and educational standards for the training of psychologists in Russia. The faculty has established and successfully develops large scientific schools founded by L. S. Vygotsky, A. N. Leontiev, A. R. Luria, B. V. Zeigarnik, P. Ya. Galperin in the field of clinical and neuropsychology, childhood psychology, educational psychology, labor psychology, virtual reality psychology, sports psychology, etc.

Within the faculty, more than 250 doctors and candidates of psychological sciences, including 20 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Education, conduct their scientific and pedagogical activities.
